Several upgrades will be done this year.

 -Many new reports will allow someone to track down the behaviour of the returning visitors in the Enterprise Edition with a greater level of flexibility.

-Two new reports at least will be added to the standard version, the trafic per day of the week and at least one report regarding directories.

-It is planned to implement a chart for any row in most reports. One would right click on a line in a report about search phrases, countries, referrrers, etc.. and get an historical chart for the relevant line.

-A scheduler to download automatically log files and process them for a certain number of predefined projects will be added.

-Importing cities. Technically it is not so hard to import cities and use them as a variable, or even to produce new reports, however no choice was done regarding the database provider. GeoLiteCity is a free package that could be incorporated, but it's accuracy is under 60% for cities and somewhat above for regions. Some commercial packages  have an accuracy of 70, or even 75% but there is a cost associated with it. Unless one is ready to pay thousands of dollars there is no such thing like a database of cities with an accuracy of 90%; IPs are redistributed constantly and even if a database is reliable at the outset its accuracy can drop by 1% every month. The likelihood is that a free database will be incorporated and upgraded regularly but those who wish to import their own database or purchase it from Maxmind (especially corporations) will have such an option.

-More flexibility will be added with new actions.
